I’m in the process of converting my entire wardrobe to hemp. It’s just a superior alternative to cotton and other fabrics. First, it’s way more comfortable (and Dash’s new heather T’s are the most comfortable shirts I’ve ever worn, truly like a second skin). It keeps me warmer in winter and way cooler in summer. Second, the antibacterial/antimicrobial/antifungal property is HUGE. I had to throw my regular clothes in the wash after every wearing. But my hemp shirts and pants don’t need washing more than once every five or six wears. So my life is simplified, my time is more my own, my water bills are lower, and I’m doing something good for the earth, because it’s washing that shortens the life of clothes more than anything. Since my hemp clothes last much longer, they’re a real value. And did I mention they look really good without ironing?
